We offer all potential clients an initial consultation with one of our engineers. After discussions and review of your electric bills, High Voltage will provide an overview of energy efficiency options.
Predominant Use Study
A Predominate Use Study, performed by a licensed engineer, determines if the energy consumed (natural gas and electricity) in your business is used for manufacturing. If established, future state sales taxes may not be incurred on your utility bills and you may be entitled to a refund. Options for tax deductions will vary by state.
Each piece of equipment must have its power consumption recorded and a determination made as to how much of its energy is used for manufacturing. A list of all the equipment and their power consumption is recorded and provided to the customer. High Voltage will process any necessary utility paperwork for refunds.
